BADGERS

Badgers are not ones to be trifled with. They have huge claws, strong arms, powerful jaws, long teeth and aggressive defense tactics. As a result, they have almost no natural predators. They are mostly active at night, but can sometimes be seen during the day. They are carnivores and feed on ground squirrels, mice, birds, snakes and insects. They are typically solitary animals.
